Port Washington State Bank and SVdP Ozaukee Partner to Launch Getting Ahead Program

St. Vincent de Paul Ozaukee County is excited to partner with Port Washington State Bank to bring the Getting Ahead program to our community, an initiative recently highlighted by the Ozaukee News Graphic(opens in new tab).

Port Washington State Bank received a $5,000 grant from the Wisconsin Bankers Association to support local financial literacy efforts. The bank matched the grant with an additional $5,000, creating a $10,000 investment to help launch Getting Ahead in Ozaukee County.

Getting Ahead is a structured 16-session workshop designed to help individuals and families identify financial barriers, develop practical tools, set achievable goals, and create personalized plans for greater long-term financial stability.

The program focuses on helping participants move beyond short-term assistance by building knowledge, confidence, and resources that can support lasting economic independence.

We are grateful to Port Washington State Bank and the Wisconsin Bankers Association for investing in this important community program and supporting our mission of helping local neighbors in need.
